COVID-19 Cleaning Services

In response to the pandemic, Clean & Green has been providing COVID-19 cleaning services on a preventative and post-infection basis.

Our team has been hard at work providing sanitizing and disinfecting using both traditional methods as well as electrostatic sprayers.

What is Electrostatic Spray Technology?

Electrostatic spray technology is a new way to apply cleaners, sanitizers, and disinfectants to help facilities treat surfaces, often in less time and with better coverage than traditional cleaning methods. The technology is well-established, with a history of more than 60 years in other areas, including agriculture, automotive, and tanning industries, but it has only recently been applied to surface disinfection.

Electrostatic sprayers work by charging liquids (i.e., cleaners, sanitizers, and disinfectants) as they pass through a sprayer nozzle. This generates charged droplets that repel one another and actively seek out environmental surfaces, which they stick to and even wrap around to coat all sides. The result is a uniform coating of sanitizer or disinfectant on sprayed objects, including hard-to-reach areas that manual cleaning can miss. The technology also helps avoid liquid pooling often associated with trigger sprayers.

Benefits

  • Superior disinfecting and sanitizing performance,
  • Reduces potential for cross contamination when cleaning and disinfecting,
  • Demonstrated effectiveness against viruses like SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19, and

Tips and Best Practices to Minimize Your Risk

Cities and states are taking increasingly drastic measures to curb the severity of the pandemic.  To further protect yourself, minimize your exposure with the following tips:

Practice Good Hygiene

    • Clean hands with sanitizer and wash your hands frequently
    • Avoid touching your face and cover coughs and sneezes
    • Disinfect “high touch” surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, tables, doorknobs, and handrails regularly
    • Increase ventilation by opening windows or adjusting air conditioning

At The Office

    • Stop shaking hands – use other noncontact methods of greeting
    • Use videoconferencing for meetings when possible
    • When not possible, hold meetings in open, well-ventilated spaces
    • Disinfect “high touch” surfaces like desks, keyboards, light switches, doorknobs, and telephones
    • Consider adjusting or postponing large meetings or gatherings

Stay Home if…

    • You are feeling sick
    • You have a sick family member in their home
